Very pleasant memories of working for Jim at Monenco - Montreal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. I always felt "at home" in the Geotech department there, as did we all. We all shared a lot and learned a lot under Jim's big umbrella. We miss you Jim, rest well.
Condolences to all of the James Code family.

I have known Jim for many years. We often worked on the same projects where he was the Geotechnical Expert. Once we travelled to Peru for field work at the Mantaro Hydro Project. From Lima we drove over the continental divide of the Andes to get to the Mantaro River on the Amazon side.
Jim was a steady advisor and a gentleman.
Sincere condolences to the family.

Having known Jim since the 1970's, he will be remembered as a wonderful colleague, kind friend, and gentleman. I will miss the quiet chats we shared at the lunches he organised.
My deepest sympathy to his wife and family for your great loss.
