Mrs. Fetherstonhaugh, I just learned from Rob that his father had passed away. When I visited Dorval 3 years ago, it was a highlight of my trip to be able to say hello to you at the house on Berkley Crescent.

I always knew your husband had an accomplished career, but the range of his interests and achievements were truly astounding. First amongst them, of course, is the example he and you have left with your children. Their lives and contributions are the best tribute to both you and John.

From a neighbour and friend just a few doors away many years ago, my sincere condolences.

Rob and family - my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Loving memories of this most wonderful man will warm your hearts.

Both personally ,on behalf of the Drummond Foundation (the successor to the St Margaret's Home charitable trusts with which John Fetherstonhaugh was so deeply engaged for many years) , and in gratitude for the Wise counsel he offered in that role and as an advisor to my late grandmother Dorothea Drummond Millar, I extend deepest sympathies to Mr Fetherstonhaugh's family on his passing .

Hello Rob,
Circumstances prevent us from being there this Saturday for the service, however, we just wanted to let you know we send our deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. Our lives should be as full.
