Hello my dear Bear. You're with me always
July-10-18
One month. I love you very much. Your last words.

Our thoughts are with you all. Your father, The Doc, had a steady hand, assuring spirit, and endearing turns of phrase ("Eric, it's not bad. And if it's not bad, it's good!"). He was a proud father, providing the usual succinct updates on the all of you in the course of these past almost 50 years of our regular meetings. A good, dedicated man is greatly missed

Dear Maureen and family,

Rhona joins me in sending our sincere condolences on the death of John. He was an important figure in Montreal's Irish community through his work for St. Patrick's Society and the Canadian Irish Studies Foundation. I greatly appreciated all he did to help realize the goals of the Foundation. He was a man I admired because of his principles and his commitment to the greater good.

Sincerely,

Michael and Rhona Kenneally

Dear Maureen,
So sorry to hear of John's passing. My sincere condolences.
He was my mentor and my favourite professor during my residency. He was the one who encouraged me to join his staff at the MCH and gave me the best start to my career. I will remember him with fondness forever.

I didn't think it would be that hard to say goodbye. You were a good man and a very caring doctor who loved what he did. I am very honoured to have had the chance to work with you and to have known you for as long as I did. I can't thank you enough for everything that you did for me.

To Maureen, Teresa, Jim, Paul, David, Peter and your families, I extend my sincerest condolences for your loss. He will be missed by so many people, since he touched so many lives.
