Pete, Steve, Keith, Karen, Mr and Mrs Bossy: My heartfelt condolences go out to everyone in the Bossy Family. As you all know, Linda and I were very close friends growing up in Verdun. I had the honour and privilege of escorting Linda to her graduation dance in 1979, so to hear of this sad news has left a huge hole in my heart. Even though we had drifted apart as so many people do, I will never forget her beautiful smile and her genuine laugh along with all those great memories. Rest in Peace my Friend.

My dearest Maureen, Leo, Peter, Steven, Karen and Keith.
My heart is breaking as I write this letter. I wish there was something I could do or say to ease your pain but I know only time can heal. Linda was more than a friend to me she was like a sister I never had. There is a void in my heart that will never be replaced . My deepest sympathy. I can't imagine this world without her smile and her laugh.
All my love Barbara

Linda Bossy and death don't go in the same sentence. I met Linda when we were both cheerleaders for the Montreal Alouettes. We enjoyed running together and also spent many nights on Crescent street at Sir Winston Churchill's Pub. Linda was everyone's friend. Everyone would gather at her house to hang out and have fun. There was nothing complicated about Linda - she was genuine, happy to be alive, and kind to everyone she met. We lost touch when I moved to California and when Linda moved there as well, I was heading east to Pennsylvania. I always looked for her on Facebook but we lost touch. Today I am grieving a friend I wanted to see again. I missed my chance to hear her laugh one last time. Rest in peace my dear friend. You deserved a happier ending.

I knew Linda long ago through some common friends. We might not have been too close but I was close enough to know that, "man that girl is funny"!!! As a newbie CFL Montreal Alouette cheerleader way back when... she was one of the senior ones I looked up to! The enthusiasm and kookiness that she shared with all of us was infectious! My heart and condolences extend to all her family and friends who are surely feeling a loss of sunshine to their days. One can rest assure that there'a a party going on up in heaven now that she's on their sideline! May part of her spirit live on in all of us! God bless you Linda for sharing your smile and laughter so generously.

I knew Linda many years ago when she was still living in Montreal. Always smiling and laughing. You could never be in a bad mood with Linda around. Taken much too young. Deepest sympathies to her family.

I knew Linda early in my career in Montreal for what would be considered a short number of years. I always knew Linda to be a lively, vivacious, happy, and fun person. She had many good friends; and was a good friend. It is always sad when we lose a good person in this life. Sadder still when we lose one too young and too soon. Linda will be remembered.

I love you Linda! I truly cherish the time we spent together; you are the most loving, giving person I've ever known. God bless you! I will miss you dearly.

To the entire Bossy & Feller families, with Mackenzie, Jimmy and Tracy, you have been constantly in our thoughts. I remember Linda as being so fun and forthright, bright and beautiful. The word spirited comes to mind, in the best of ways! I know your enormous love and consistent care empowered and meant the world to her. I'm hoping that this surreal void in your lives right now may soon be partially filled with her light and your own unique, special memories. Love to all, from myself and Connor,
