It brings me great sadness to learn of Signiora Maria's passing.
I have known her since I was a toddler and spent a large part of my childhood growing up in her household and played in the back yard with her children who I consider my family. "Kindred siblings" as I like to think of them.
So many years later, but the memories are still clear in picture.
It brings a smile to my face when I think of her in recent years and can still hear her saying in Italian every time I would run into her
"You got so tall” and “You're always laughing" and especially” When are you getting married!?" lol
I also want to take the time to thank you for always respecting my family and parents and for being a good friend to us throughout all of our lifetimes.
Your generosity and warmth will never go unnoticed, Thank You!
You are in my thoughts and I will always keep your memory cherished.
You will be missed.
My deepest condolences to the whole family and especially, spouse and children,
I am thinking of you.
