We will always remember Joe, Pat and family arriving in Montreal to join CFCF. There were wonderful years shared in Baie Durfe as well. Pat truly was Joe's partner while continuing to raise five beautiful children. When she lost Joe she bravely continued to march down that road. Sadly, we lost touch when we left Quebec. We send big hugs to the Van Doninck children and their families. We know her legacy will continue.
We can still hear her laughter ... she shall be missed!

I never met Pat while working at John Abbott College, but after reading her Obituary, I wish I had known her. Pat sounds like a person who loved and experienced life, and my sympathy goes out to all her family.

Very sad news indeed. I knew Pat for well over 25 years, we shared a glass of wine occasionally at her home, or at the Willow's. Such a fun lady. My thoughts and prayers are with her dear family at this time. Debbie Miller. ( Baie D'urfe Plaza)

It is with great sadness that I learnt of Pat's passing. We had so much fun together when she and Joe lived in Baie d'Urfe. Rest in peace Pat you will always be in our thoughts. Vivienne

I went to Precious Blood Grade School, Detroit, with Pat in the 1930s and 1940s. May she rest in peace.
