This is one of Sam's nephews and I wanted to thank everybody for praying for us. I not only lost a uncle but a good friend.

I wanted to personally Thank all of you that attended Sams' viewing and funeral. The love that all showed to the family means more than we could say. Sam was not only a brother and brother-in-law to us, but he was the best son, friend, dad and uncle anyone could ever ask for. He will be dearly missed and we will never forget seeing his smiling face. Our only prayer is that God will give us the extra grace to get through and keep running our race. Sam finished his and made it safely home, and now we as the family have to look to our Heavenly Father and trust in him to safely lead us home where one glorious day we will again be reunited with our loved one. Sam, if you are looking down, know that although it is hard for us, we know where you are and are striving to make our way home to be with you and Grandma Bessie. Watch after each other until we get home. You will be truly missed and only God can fill the empty space in our hearts that you once occupied.We love you, Jamie, Rhonda, Hannah, Faith and Chancey Alley.

My heartfelt sympathy goes to Sam's family and, especially, his daughter, Samantha.Though I worked with Sam at BASF, I did not know him very well, but I did know two things about him: He loved to laugh and he loved Samantha dearly. Speaking of her always made him smile. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that your memories always shine.
