AVON LAKE-Arlene M. Lundberg (nee Horwedel), 91 a lifelong resident of Avon Lake, passed away, Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Northridge Retirement Community, North Ridgeville. She was born February 15, 1924 in Lakewood.
Mrs. Lundberg was a 1941 graduate of Avon Lake High School and continued her education at the at the Case School of Applied Sciences earning a degree in Drafting. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed tenting to her garden.
Arlene is survived by children Joyce Fjeldstad (Anders) of Mentor, Judith Houdeshell (Danny) of Avon Lake and Roy Lundberg (Cindy) of North Ridgeville. Other survivors include five grandchildren Erin Fjeldstad, Scott Houdeshell (Rhonda), Amy Houdeshell, Jeff Houdeshell (Terri) and Renee Lundberg and three great grandchildren Devin, Dominic and Taylor. She is also survived by siblings Vivian Rogers, Beverly Jaroscak, Norma Huber, Neal Horwedel and Thomas Horwedel. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy in 2010 and grandson Kevin Houdeshell in 2014.
Friends may call at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd., Avon Lake from 10:00am to 11:00am, Friday, July 31, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am. Fr. Ron Wearsch of the church will officiate. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon. Memorial contributions may be forwarded to the Diabetic Partnership of Cleveland 3601 S. Green Rd., Cleveland 44122

Sorry to hear Arlene passed away. Her and Roy were good neighbors. Talked to your dad many times over the fence. Just kind of saw Your mom being busy around the house.
