Dear Dave, Debbie, Denise, and Dawn and grandkids. I am so sorry for your loss. Jan was a fantastic lady and I'm glad I knew her since grade school at St. Joseph's and the Old Coliseum. I'm sure she is with our Lord in heaven.

I'am sorry for your loss
November 28, 2011
Dearest Dave, Debbie, Denise, and Dawn –
I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. Jan's gentle spirit, creative soul, and amazing gifts of selfless love, hard-work, dedication to her family, and commitment to the sport of skating made her an unforgettable woman with an amazing zest for life! Along with all of you, I'm so glad I had the honor and privilege of calling your Mom my friend over the years. As a child, she was that Mom I loved to be around. Always full of energy and creativity. As I grew into an adult, she was that Mom I looked up to because she did it right! She raised three incredible daughters and loved her grandchildren with a passion that is priceless and unparalleled. She will be forever missed.

God Bless you All and always know how much you are loved and cherished as forever friends in my heart and life.
Love always,
Sandy & Bob, Anthony, Andrew, and Allen Matakovich

Debbie, Denise and Dawn,

Words can barely express the sorrow I'm certain you are feeling right now. You should be thankful and proud to have had a Mother such as yours. All the years I've known her we could see that she was always there and always ready to help and support you in any way she could. She truly loved you and was a wonderful Mother. The world would be a better place if there were more like her.

To Dave,

Like I told you last night, "How are you?" is such a stupid question right now. It is hard to imaging losing a wife and companion of so many years. The chemistry you both have complemented each other and you were truly a perfect fit. The steadfastness of your relationship and marriage is truly an example to follow. My deepest condolences.
