Louise A. Bruder
SHEFFIELD VILLAGE – Louise A. Bruder, 81, of Sheffield Village, died Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic, Avon. She was born Mar. 9, 1933 in Sheffield Village, and was a lifelong resident until moving to Avon in 2011. Even more then her beautiful apartment at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, she loved the staff and care she got from her Avon Oaks "family". She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy, Lorain, Class of 1951. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake. She worked as a bookkeeper for several years at Smith and Gerhart's Dept. Store, and then worked for the Sheffield-Sheffield Lake School System as a cafeteria worker for over 18 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, babysitting, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by son: Dale (Maureen) Bruder of Lorain, daughter: Connie Schillinger (Richard Stuart) of Avon Lake; grandchildren: Ashley (Zach) Baker, Ryan Schillinger(Brandi Beaver), Corey Schillinger, and Jacob Bruder; Great-granddaughters: McKenzie and Brooklyn; sisters: Sr. St. Martha, SND, of Chardon and Geraldine "Gerry" Thome, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 yrs.: Myron S. in 2004; brother: Leroy "Coonie" Conrad.
Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Road, Avon, where closing prayers will be Monday 10:15 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.

Tonight I just happened to read the MJ online and read about your mom's passing. I am so sorry that we were not able to attend visitation. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our sincere condolences to both of you and your families.
