I used to work at Medicalodges in Frontenac on the night shift. I worked on the hall where Irene's room was and she was a pistol. We always had a good laugh and a chat when she was getting ready for the day. I'll miss her, she was a very special person.

I knew Irene at Church, MW and playing cards. She was always there with a smile and twinkle in her eye. We could always count on Irene to bring food, make phone calls or just be there. She made playing cards such fun. She was so sharp and we could never get the best of her. We missed her when she had to go to the care home and we miss her now. She was a real inspiration and spark plug where ever she was.
