May the many fond memories help sustain you now and through the years.

Aunt Sally was our family historian, she could give you the most detailed history of anyone in the Crain family. I was always in awe of her stories and the vivid details in her explanation. Sally was a librarian it was her gift and calling. She was also gifted at the art of Crochet. Since I was a musician (Guitar) and my name Danny, she crocheted the musical staff of Danny Boy in a large afghan blanket, a much-treasured gift to me. Sally was the youngest of Myrle and Viola Crain's family. The 1st in the family to achieve both a Bachelors and Masters degree, a great feat for a little girl from Cherokee County in her day and age. Sally and Bob both were Academics who also encouraged their sons to be scholars as well. I dearly loved them both! They were special people and an inspiration to our family! You will be dearly missed, Aunt Sally.

Frances was such a wonderful person! I work at Strickland Middle School, and she volunteered with us for so long. She was always so wonderful to teach me things and just to be around. I loved her dearly. I am very lucky to have the afghan that she had published in the magazine. My thoughts and prayers are you.
