My best teacher ever

By chance I was listening to a documentary about Anglo-Indians and the name of Charles Losasso came into my head - after all these years... he was an amazing teacher who was loved by many many young people who he inspired and enthused with his warmth and love of his subject and for his awesome ability as a teacher. Like David Williams I would say without a doubt that my love of literature, despite in my case living in a house where there were precious few books, was down to his teaching and his encouragement.

Inspirational teacher

I know this is late - I only learned of his death today. He was my inspiration, my reason to fall in love with literature, my reason to write. It's said that you always remember one teacher. Charles Losasso is the teacher I remember. David Williams (ACGS1962-1969)
