Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations.....teaching them to observe all the things that I have commanded you. So teaching about the good news of God's kingdom helps all to look forward to what God will do for the future of mankind. Matthew 28:19,20
I remember when he started coming to our Church(Time Square Church) he really was a good Christian friend.
Chuck went into the prisons, not judging but loving. He realized that
all souls have value to God. Job well done! Love & Prayers,
He was a great Christian and a great man of God. The Lord Bless his family.
Chuck Colson is the Solder for Jesus Christ in his faith.
i remember a statement mr colson made regarding how to guard against abusing power. He said having the heart attitude of a servant will guard against the abuse of power.
Thank you God,for your works through Chuck Colson..As never imagined, many have emerged from incarceration saying "Jail saved my life!"Hallelujah!God's doing for many what they could not do for themselves..Amazing Grace-that saved a wretch like me!Amen!
Mr. Colsons life is a beautiful example of how we all matter and how one person who starts out on the wrong side, can turn himself around with the power of the Lord and make a positive difference in so many lives. Thank you for your example Mr. Colson.

A Sister in Christ
Chuck helped me turn my life around in 1987. I was in Joliet, and a friend arranged a visit. He helped me to see, period. I was stuck. He freed me. I thank God for him caring, and the friend that helped facilitate our meeting. I was young, (in my mid-twenties), and had already done 8+ years in Idaho, and was incarcerated in Illinois. I never returned to the kind of life I'd lived ever again. Thank you, Chuck. Ultimately the most life-changing person I've met in my life, and most likely ever will.
I know that Jesus said "Well done" to His faithful servant, Chuck Colson. I treasure the inspiration that I have received from chuck's messages. -Judi, Waupaca, Wisconsin
Thank you Chuck Colson, always good to hear you on the radio; you are in Heaven with Jesus. Linda, New Mexico
Chuck Colson was a great example of what a change can come over a person when Jesus touches them. I read Born Again a couple of times and it touched me. I am a Christian, but I also have a brother that has spent 28 years in prison in Mississippi and we have tried everything to get him released and it has not worked. He also believes in God now and has changed his life but it is so hard to go and visit him and not have any idea if he will ever get out. He should have been released after about 10 years at the most. Just remeember that Chuck Colson made a changing effect on many lives with his ministry and life.
My sincere condolences to the entire Colson Family. I pray that all of these entrees along with all of your memories of Chuck will comfort you. But today the 'Guest Of Honor' has arrived, of the party that the Angel in Heaven threw on the day Chuck received Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Chuck Colson proved to me that there is redemption in Christ Jesus for the lowest of losers..."ME" I follow him as he followed "our" CHRIST! We'll see you soon Chuck!
Mr. Colson, Is running on the Golden Streets Of Heaven. Mr. Colson thank you, for showing what true Mercy and Grace from God, can change In one's life. I Pray for Jesus Peace over Family and Friends.
TO THE COLSON FAMILY, I REMEMBER WATCHING THE DIFFERENT COMMITTEES AND TRAILS OF THOSE INVOLVE WITH WATERGATE. I WOULD COME HOME FROM SCHOOL AND THAT WAS ALL THAT WAS ON TV, I BECAME A POLITICAL PERSON FROM WATCHING THIS. IT IS GOOD TO HEAR OTHERS SPEAK OF MR. COLSON AS ONE WHO MINISTERED TO OTHERS AFTER THE WATERGATE ERA. PLEASE FIND COMFORT IN YOUR TIME OF SORRY FROM GOD WORD IT OFFERS REFRESHMENT FOR YOUR SOUL.(MATT. 11:28-30)
God never wastes a hurt and colson was proof of that.He turned the pain of humiliation and failure into a ministry to help others. The ultimate redemption story. Welldone good and faithful servant.
I grieve for his wife and family, but I rejoyce for him. Home at last.
what an inspiration Mr. Colson hAs been to so many people including me. His story is powerful! He is now in a better place.
God can change anyone's heart. Chuck Colson is proof. RIP and I know you are loving being with Jesus.
Mr. Colson is a large part of why I will be volunteering again as the Lord leads me, in the prisons here in South Texas. God is at work behind these bars and fences. Rest in Peace Chuck Colson.
YES, if he can be converted and completely saved and restored by the grace of God, so can you I. To God be the glory!
I "found" Chuck on WFIA am 900 radio here in Louisville, Ky. Articulate, knowledgeable, awesome voice . . . As a social worker, I too often cheer lead for societal outcasts, human beings who make bad choices, but on the road to recovery they inspire others, as Mr. Colson has inspired me. In fact, I just now remember that I was visiting a home health patient, former inmate, who learned to forgive himself while listening to Mr. Colson's broadcast. May you rest in well-deserved eternal peace, Chuck.
Brian K. Gettelfinger, LCSW
He will be deeply missed. He touched lives, not just in the highest ranks of office, but also in the deepest, lowest parts of human life. His Prison Ministry will reap him eternal rewards beyond measure.
God used Mr. Colson in a most powerful way. Not only did he help those in prison , but also through his many books. A true testimony to God's amazing Grace. Thank You Lord for Chuck Colson.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to Chuck's wife, Patty, and the rest of the Colson family.
How does one write a condolence about this Giant of a man? I not only always enjoyed the brief time I spent listening to him on Breakpoint, but was always touched by the Holy Spirit that was in him during those minutes of airtime. I would try and pray intercessory prayers during Breakpoint for Chuck, only to find that his love for Christ Jesus always overflowed my prayer. Then the Lord would tell me, 'Yes, We (the Spirit of God and Chuck's spirit) heard your prayers, and we raise you the Love of Jesus and a challenge - were you listening to everything we were saying?' Ha! That was the kind of Spirit that flowed from Chuck.
'He was a tireless Champion of the
Faith, and he now has the privilege
of meeting -in the Kingdom - all
those souls that he touched so
Love and Prayers,

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Colson's passing. It was listening to BreakPoint on my way to/from work on Maui that helped me form my strong opinions about what is happening in our country and that we each need to do our part...whether it is a popular opinion, or not.
He will be missed.
Jana (Melissa, TX)
Like so many biblical characters, Chuck experienced and then shared the redemptive grace of God through our Lord Jesus.
We are all flawed, but never beyond His reach.
Rest well, loyal brother to the prisoner and faithful servant of our Lord.

My condolences go out to the Colson family in their loss of Chuck Colson from a fatal brain injury. I know the Colson's will miss their relative very much especially Michael Colson whose friendship my nephew Jeff relys on to get thru the daily rigors of life. I am saddened to know the hurt Michael Colson will feel from this devastating loss of his favorite relative.

We'll be praying for them.
What an Awesome Man of God! Really loved his storys and teaching tapes.
I was at the pool hall shooting snooker when I heard about Chuck. This is truly a sad day for us all. God speed to the family of Charles Colson and may that prepetuated lite shine upon him. May he and the soles of the faithful departed rest in piece.
Chuck Colson made a profound impact on my life. His book "Born Again" details his life and his conversion, and will forever be part of my spiritual foundation. His rise to power and fall from political grace lead him into an abyss of darkness, and it was there where he saw the light, and it changed his life; and his story changed my life and it changed millions of lives, one life at a time. Forever in my heart and with deepest gratitude, I thank you Mr. Colson
Prayers their way. I heard Brother Charles speak and he was an inspiration. II Corinthians 5:17 "If any man be in Christ he is a new creature. Old things have passed away and all things become as new."
May our Lord bless your family and comfort them to know that they will see you again in our Fathers house my prayers are with you.
Linda Brice Ca

The 32 yeas that I have been a volunteer in Chuck's Prison Fellowshin in-prison minstries have been the happiest years of my life. It was indeed a blessing to know Chuck's love for our Lord and prisoners.
My deepest sympathies to the Colson family. "He knows the way I take: when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold." Job 23:10
Chuck Colson is most certainly hearing the Lord say " well done my good and faithful servant".
A great man of God, who's influence on the prison community in general and thousands of individuals throughtout the world is a wonderful legacy. Chuck will never be forgotten, and greatly missed. Ron Largent
With deepest sympathy to the Colson family during your time of grief...Psalm 46:1...God is for us a refuge and strength, A help that is readily to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead.
Connecticut mourns the loss of Chuck.
Rest in Peace,
Good & Faithful Servant.
This just goes to show that even though we make mistakes, God is a just God and will totally forgive us of our sins. May you rest in peace Mr. Colson and thank you for showing so many prisoners the way to salvation!
I am saddened that Chuck Colson has passed from this earth but rejoice that he is enjoying his newfound home in heaven. May God bless the Colson family. I have been enriched in my life from the Chuck Colsons' books and his radio program and the emails I received from Breakpoint. Mr. Colson will be greatly missed on the Christian front lines. Grace and Peace to all!
I am so sorry for your lost. May you and your family rely on God in this time if grief.
Thank you for remembering the forgotten and outcasts in this world. You were a true Christian.
I met Chuck at the Trinitarian Church in Wayland, MA. I was working for Raytheon Co. as a secretary when the President of Raytheon led Chuck to the Lord and he spoke at this church.
Chuck Colson was A true example of what God can do!! Now Chuck can rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior.
I never met Mr Colson, but reading his book Born Again challenged my personal faith in Christ.
So sorry to hear about Charlie Colson. I will miss him about as much as Officer Kimble. His batman glasses were a fixture in our society. He an Tony Salatan were among the great american folk guitarists of the 20th century. God Rest his sole.
To the the family of Charles Colson - May God give you peace and comfort through his word and the Lord Jesus Christ during this time of sorrow, I know that he will be missed by many.
May he rest in peace eternally
I have said many times that Chuck was truly a "trophy of God's grace." The tragedy of Watergate was turned into a beautiful trophy of the redemptive work of God. What Chuck accomplished for God so far exceeds anything he accomplished politically. I eagerly look forward to sharing eternity with him. I pray that you will experience the perfect, precious peace of Jesus during this time.
Although I never met Chuck in person, as an admirer and follower of his ministry for many years, it was evident to me that he was rich not only in his many achievements, but also in his private happiness. Indeed, his public achievements were rooted in his private happiness. The great turning point of his life was meeting his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
On that we have the plain testimony of a loving and grateful husband, father, grand father and friend. I share in their grief today. But I also share in their pride.
For the many years I've followed Chuck, I can remember nothing less than his deep love for God and his zeal for souls. He was a great mentor to me and many others. Indeed, his inspiration will ever remain as part of my life.
While the short comings of Chuck's early years had seemingly taken it's toll on his service to our country, his faith in and dedication to our Lord, Jesus Christ, gave him a new spirit, making Chuck evermore courageous to overcome his past and to meet some of life's most enduring challenges. What the Satan meant for evil, God meant for good!
We may be sure that the Lord never forgets those who remember Him. And as the last journey of this faithful pilgrim took him beyond the sunset, and as heaven's morning broke, I like to think - in the words of Bunyan - that `all the trumpets sounded on the other side'.
Yet, we here still move in twilight. But we have one beacon to guide us that Charles “Chuck” Colson never had. We have his example. Let us give thanks today for a life that achieved so much for so many, through God's amazing grace.
I enjoyed hearing Mr. Colson on BreakPoint. His work for Prison Fellowship was tremendous. May his soul rest in peace. Alice R. Anderson
I enjoyed volunteering for 6 years with Prison Fellowship in CT. prisons. Mr. Colson's life was an extraordinary sermon. What an awesome legacy.
My sincere condolences to the Colson family may God continue to keep you during your time of grief.
Rest in peace with your lord, and thank you for showing us that redemption is always possible.
My deepest sympathies for your loss. May God give you the strength to endure this trial.
I listen to Breakpoint most mornings as I drive to work and had the privilege of hearing Mr Colson speak in Massachusetts about three years ago - a true man of God, a modern day Paul.
THOU OH LORD ARE A SHIELD ABOUT ME
YOU'RE MY GLORY
AND THE LIFTER OF MY HEAD
PS 40:1-3 I WAITED PATIENTLY FOR THE LORD; HE TURNED TO ME AND HEARD MY CRY.
HE LIFTED ME OUT OF THE SLIMY PIT (OF TUMULT AND OF DESTRUCTION), OUT OF THE THE MUD AND MIRE, HE SET MY FEET UPON A ROCK, AND GAVE ME A FIRM PLACE TO STAND.
HE PUT A NEW SONG IN MY MOUTH, A HYMN OF PRAISE TO OUR GOD. MANY WILL SEE AND FEAR AND PUT THEIR TRUST (CONFIDENT RELIANCE) IN THE LORD.
He is in Heaven with Living God our Lord Jesus Christ. " This is the day that Lord
has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it" With Lord of all.

As Lynyrd Skynyrd sang in "Sweet Home Alabama,"
"Watergate does not bother me, does your conscience
bother you?" If anyone could leave this world with a clear
conscience, it should have been Mr. Colson.
May he rest in peace.

Chuck's life was definately an example of "Thy Will Be Done". May God Continue to Pour His Blessings on the loved ones left behind. The Bible says "You cannot serve two masters". What a perfect beautiful example was shown through Chuck's life. God's Blessings to All
Chuck Colson was the real deal: A tough-guy politician until Christ entered his life and gave him a vision for helping those who have no hope.
What a tremendous example this man was for all of us. His work on behalf of prisoners was exactly what Christ taught us to do. My condolences to his friends and family. I hope to honor him by doing whatever I can using his work as a path to follow.
May the Lord comfort you. He was a caring man that impacted the lives of many, and will continue to do so.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing." 2 Timothy 7-8
