Our hearts are with the entire Brooks and Draper family as you mourn the transition of Amy Lynn. There are no earthly words that will comfort you in a way that The Word can comfort you. I pray that your focus will be on her love for you and on the unconditional love of Our Father as you travel through the desert of grief. Each one will travel this journey uniquely and alone with God.
I pray you will give each other the time needed to do whatever comes naturally for you as you travel. It will only remain dark for those who have no hope in eternal life. I pray for those who do not know the unconditional love of Jesus Christ that they will come to him and begin a new life.
Eventually (there is no timetable on when grief should end) you will begin to see light and memories will become sweet. Focus on her loving spirit and life. I beg you to take all the good that she has given and pay it forward in her name. Be better, be stronger, love more and LIVE to glorify God in everything you do.

I am reminded of when Mr. Brooks was beginning his transition into the Father's arms. He told me that he saw a great scroll wrapping around the bedroom. It had The Word written on it and it was sweet to eat. He wanted to devour it. Your legacy is telling you to do the same. Allow God's bountiful Word to supply all your needs according to His great riches.

Mankind will be insufficient. Our God is not. The verse that Henry was remembering can be found in the book of Jeremiah 15:16 “Your words were found, and I devoured them. Your words are my joy and my heart's delight, because I am called by your name, O LORD God of Armies.” Amy was called by her name and not too early nor too late.

Our hearts and thoughts are with you all. May God completely surround you with his heavenly and earthly angels and may they supply everything you need in abundance.

Randal, Ryne, Jennefer, Michael, Anna, Colby, Bella and I are with you.

Amy will always have this special place in my heart because in Amy's heart she always kept a special place for me in hers. And she loved her children so much. Rest in piece my sweet Amy. I Love You and say hi to D-Dad for me and tell him I love him. Aunt Irma
