Anton, I heard those lyrics today: "In a moment when time stands still, from here we look out on forever..."
Miss you and your raucous laugh.

I grew up with Anton, and his family and had some wonderful times, I lost contact with Anton after high school but always had great respect and love for him, all who knew him were blessed, I will always remember Anton at the ping pong table, and Piano. Truly Great man.

The Trinity University magazine arrived today and I read the "In Memoriam" section. Memories of great fun, joy, laughter, and crazy antics came rushing through my thoughts. I loved the entire vibrant and colorful Pierce family. Anton was the incredibly talented brother I never had. Thank you for the time we shared. I know we will see you again. Julian may you experience the peace and love that passes all understanding and heals the wounded spirit.

Anton was a great friend to my father and me, and I knew him for most of my life.
I will always remember his fondness for music, golf, and good food and drink. He was a fantastic pianist and singer, and one of the first people who played music with me when I was a kid (also the first person to let me drive a golf cart). I have many fond memories of the man, and I'm grateful that we stayed in touch.
Anton, I hope your next journey is filled with light and love, thank you for your friendship.

My husband and I are very saddened to hear the news about the sudden and premature loss of Anton. We knew him through my sister, Mary Todd Boering, and enjoyed getting to know him. Although we had not been in touch in several years, we have lots of fond memories shared with my sister and Anton that we will treasure. Our thoughts and deep prayers go out to Anton's family. RIP

Anton whirled into our music studio in Santa Fe a couple of years ago. He instantly had us laughing at his musical antics and his generosity of spirit. We are shocked, saddened and send our condolences in a big way. He called himself "The Wingnut," see what I meanwe still can smile because of him. Love, Ashisha

Anton was my friend of almost 30 years
I cannot understand this, but I am grateful to God for the fond memories, the laughter, extreme generosity, love, kindness and raw honesty that Anton Grey Pierce unselfishly shared with me and my family over the course of many years.
He encouraged me, he helped me, he taught me, he invested in me, he believed in me, he accepted me, he listened to me and spoke into my life, he showed me love in every way a friend can show love.
Though we had not been in close contact recently, I miss you and I love you Brother.
Thank you for your friendship Amigo It is with a very sad heart that I bid you goodbye.
To his brother Julian and his sister-in-law Jan I am simply at a loss for words as I am sure you must be. Much love and many prayers to you and yours my friends.
God is good and He sovereignthis I know.
Peace

I've known Anton since Jr. high school. We were in choir at Cary and TJ and sang in many musicals, too. He was going to try out for cheerleading and was my stunt partner. The last time I saw Anton was our 10 yr high school reunion. He will be truly missed! Prayers for strength and comfort for his family.
