Carolyn June Muse, of Midland, left this earth on Saturday, April 27, 2013 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she was 63. June was born to Myrdell Wolf and the late JR Wolf on September 6, 1949 in Muleshoe, Texas, but was raised and educated in Snyder, Texas, where she married and had three sons. In 1979, she moved to Duchesne, Utah, where she met and later married her true love, Acel Muse. They extended their family with three more children. June and Acel raised their family in Utah. In 2007, they returned to Texas and made their home in Midland. June was preceded in death by her father, JR Wolf; her son, James Russell Vaughn and two brothers, Dennis Wolf and Roy Wolf. She is survived by her loving husband, Acel Muse of Midland; sons, Eric Vaughn and Jeffrey Vaughn both of Midland and stepson, Todd Muse of St. George, Utah; step daughters, Leslie Muse Mowhawk of Quincy, CA and Jeri Lyn Muse of San Diego, CA. June is also survived by her mother, Myrdell Wolf of Midland; brothers, Ray Wolf of Hobbs, NM, Randel Wolf of Runaway Bay, TX, Cleo Wolf of Midland and Dale Wolf of Austin, TX; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Viewing for June will be today from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with a receiving of friends tonight from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. Funeral service is set for Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at Hospice Midland Inspiration Center, 4629 Andrews Hwy, Midland, TX. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder, Texas. Funeral services are under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.
