Cinda Gail (Hoover) Hogan passed away December 18, 2014 after a yearlong battle against cancer. She was born in Peru, Indiana on August 24, 1954 to Robert and Shirley (Reavis) Hoover. After her parents divorce a few years later, her mother married Guy Willis Bates who was in the U.S Air Force. They lived in Arkansas and that is where Cinda started elementary school. In 1965, they were reassigned to California and lived in Olivehurst for 6 years. In 1971, they moved again, to a new assignment in the United Kingdom, they lived in Saxmundham, England and Cinda attended Lakenheath American High School, graduating in 1973. She married Dave Kershaw and gave birth to a daughter, Candi Christine and later a son, David James. They divorced and a few years later, Cinda moved from her home in Lincoln, NE to Midland, Texas to live near her parents. She later married and 2 children were born of that union, Guy Cornell Hogan and Angela Marie Hogan. After that marriage dissolved, another daughter was born to Cinda, Jessica Anne Courtney. Cinda worked mostly in retail, at TG&Y, Kmart, Dunlaps and Penneys. Cinda was a shopper, a cake baker, an animal lover, a good neighbor, an avid reader and a loyal friend. She had a very quick wit and was good at creating poems. She was much loved by her family and friends and will be treasured in our memories forever more. Cinda was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Jo Hoover and a brother, Larry Joe Hoover. She is survived by her Soulmate-Larry Wooten, from 2001 till her passing, her parents, Guy W. and Shirley Bates of Midland, a brother, Robert Lee Hoover of Bend, OR, sisters, Ginger McCrackin and husband, Kent , and Donna Wiesman all of Midland. Sons, David J. Kershaw and wife Kristine, of Midland, and Guy C. Hogan of Midland, Daughters, Candi Kershaw of Lexington, KY, Angela Hogan of Midland, TX. and Jessica A. Courtney of San Angelo, TX. Grandchildren, Britney Kershaw of Lexington, KY., Hayden Kershaw, Kinley Kershaw, Kamryn Kershaw, Karli Kershaw and Gideon Hogan, all of Midland. Also many, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her and will miss her Graveside service Tuesday December 30,2014, 12 noon, Fairview Cemetery, Midland, TX...,
