I worked for Dr. Collins in the late 70's when I was in high school. He taught me so many things that I still use today and taught me a lot about strong work ethics. I will remember him always. So sorry to hear of his passing and your loss.

My wife, Charlene, and I send our sincere condolences to Dr. Collin's family members...May God bless you all.
We and our two children moved to Midland right after my graduation from TAMU in August 1964. It was my first employment as a veterinarian. Both Otho and Frances were extra kind to us.
We had some memorable times of evening fellowship with them at their big, rambling, friendly home, while enjoying a casual meal. We remember their sweet children, too, and the big St. Bernard (I think) who would sometimes come running toward the house and then jump onto a picnic table located right next to the bay window by the dining table!
We did not stay in Midland very long, however, opting to eventually settle in east Texas (our origins).
But, thank you for fond, sweet memories... We will meet again in Heaven, since we, too, are followers of Jesus.

For anyone that has met this man is a.true blessing. I had worked with him for many years and was always excited to hear that he would be would working with us as a relief vet for one of the other Dr. I still have the lovely blanket that his wife made for my daughter when she was born. I have learned and enjoyed having him be part of my life. That I am so very thankful for.

Dear Collins Family, It does not seem so long ago, when Allen, Karen and Melody and myself were children, later came Stephen and my family the Longs would go to visit your grand parents and hear of all the things you were doing, they were so proud of OC and him coming back to Midland to practice. I am the youngest of the daughters of De and Lou, I have such great memories of the Collins family, I still live out by the dairy. My heart and prayers goes out to you all.

To the Collins family. You are in mny thoughts and prayers. Heaven has just added another sweet, gentle spirit to the scrolls. Dr. Collins was my precious April Ann's Dr. and I'll never forget how kind and caring he was with her. I'm so thankful for all the love and care he's given to countless pets over the years. There is a special place in Heaven just for him.
