Barbara & Jack,
For many, many years I have traveled the road to work on popular springs road. Most of those summer, fall seasons Marvin would always be on his tractor in a field plowing his tobacco or turning the land. I always enjoyed seeing him and admired his love and endurance it takes to farm. All those early mornings to rise and all those late evenings at edge of dark still on that tractor. Farming was in his blood. I will remember his large, strong stature and how he always leaned, faced one side with his hand on that back tire fender. Always stayed with it, seemed content, patient and in no hurry. We could all learn a bit from Marvin.
