Mrs. Treva Rose Inscore Marshall, age 78 of 3157 Willis Gap Road, Ararat, VA wife of Mr. Kenneth Marshall passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at her home. She was born May 7, 1936 in Patrick County to the late George Dewey and Carrie Elizabeth Huff Inscore. She was retired from Cross Creek and was a member of Willis Gap Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Marshall of the home, a daughter, Janet Elizabeth Marshall Parker Candler of Easley, SC, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne Marshall and Betty Sue Marshall of Ararat, VA and Gary Marshall of Galax, VA, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Violet Inscore Eaton and Farley of Ararat, VA and Pat Inscore Marshall of Winston-Salem, NC. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Jonathan Parker and a brother, Richard Inscore. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Willis Gap Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Billy Stegall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 pm Thursday until time of the service at Willis Gap Baptist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
