Kristi and family: I grew up with Craig on Blodgett Street and I'm sure we played ding dong ditch it together! There was always fun on that block of Blodgett. Later on reconnected some thru our kids being in the Big Red Marching band. He was a kind man. Thinking of you Kristi....
I got to know Craig through Etterman's, and then through-out the years he did some work for me. Once when going thru some medical problems he helped me with a hot water heater. Knowing money was very tight he insisted I only buy the heater and then pay him later, whenever I could! Then a few weeks later he stopped by and asked if I would be home the next afternoon. When he came over, he said he did some work on a Doctor's office and he replaced all the sinks. He said some of the old ones looked like new and said he wanted to put one in my bathroom to replace my old one! He refused the check I tried to give him so months later I sent it to the house. He was a very special friend and everyday I use the bathroom, I think of him and smile!!God's speed, my friend!!
Peg, Kristi and Family
You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
Kristi and Family,
I am so shocked, saddened and sorry for your loss. Craig was always so kind and funny when I saw him, but most of all he was a hard worker and his family meant everything to him. I know you will miss him every moment of the day but knowing how much he loved all of you will hopefully help you through.
Kristi and Family, We were very sadden to hear about Craig's passing. He will be remembered with a smile! Keeping all of you in our prayers.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
very sorry to hear of Craigs passing. living in lakeside all of my life I would see him from time to time walking with his children throught the neighborhood and then later on in life with his Grandchildren. My brother was a friend of Craigs also who also is now deceased. May his Family find peace in the Memories they have shared with Craig.
The loss of Mouse was a shock to all. I have known him most of my life. Our families were connected in so many ways. I went to school with his sister and worked with his mother. Our Dads worked together as carpenters and when we grew up my ex husband Butch and Craig worked together also as carpenters. They later went on to be best friends. Craig had a heart of gold. He would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. Always the comedian, he could make anyone laugh. So many times I heard him say how much he loved his wife Kristi. He was a good dad and so proud to be a grandfather. The world just won't be the same without Craig Harpe in it. My heart goes out to Craigs family.
