Sorry to hear of George passing. He was such a wonderful neighbor. I was always amazed at his energy. If he wasn't doing something with the yard or garden he was building something. The neighborhood lost a little something when he moved and now he is in a better place.

I'll never forget after one of his bouts with cancer when he said, "the Lord and the Devil are fighting over me and neither has decided who wants me and that's why I have lived so long".

What a wonderful man. You will be missed.

The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand,
The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land,
The music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains...
For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.
Our Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time.

i have so many great m memories of this great man. i am very proud to call him my grandfather he has taught me the proper way to cut grass which i never knew there was a proper way but he had the way he like it done so to me that is the proper way and to this day thats the way how i have always done it. He showed me his skills at the hand and power saws i still got the book shelf we built when i was 10 years old. I have learned how to do gardening by him.We would be pulling weeds in his garden and then i would turn around he would be sitting in a chair watching me then say hey you missed a weed and hey your not done yet. He always had humor and could make me smile. I am really gunna miss him. May he R.I.P I love you grandpa
