Hi Pam so sorry to hear about Roger. Life will be different for you Pam but your pain will lighten as years go by. I asked about you so many times. Praying for you that God will give you peace. I lost Don 5 years ago coming up in August. Met Norm Dykman who I knew from NW Grand Rapids since I was 5. We have been dating for a while. I was looking for an obituary of norms friend and saw Rogers. I just had to say hi God bless you
Pamela, thinking of you during this difficult time and holding you close in our prayers. Linda and Bill Brown
Know that we all grieve for the loss of an honored veteran. It is our privilege to perform Military Funeral Honors for our fallen brother. Thank you for your service, Sir.
Roger was my friend and room mate for our 4 years at West Point. He exemplified the West Point motto of "Duty, Honor, Country". Roger was an inspiration to me and many others. May he rest in peace.
Roger was a wonderful man and I, together with many others, are grateful he was among us. My sympathies to you, Pam, and Roger's entire family.
Pam and Gietzen family,
Thank you 4 allowing Roger 2 spend majority of his Thursday mornings with me in the summer months from 08-13!
Roger has been the most influential human in my life 2 this point. God used Roger 2 teach me many life lessons I needed 2 learn; 2 help others, and live a purposeful life 4 others and Christ!
I will never forget the day I first meet Roger in room A. I wanted 2 talk 2 him about one of his powerful Ambassador friends, and a potential dream deal. Instead I found myself on my knees with Roger praying the 3rd step prayer, and eventually learning about his most powerful friend Jesus.
I will always remember you telling me that even though current circumstances are difficult right now, that true peace is not found only in positive thinking, in absence of conflict, or in good feelings. It comes from knowing that God is in control!
The greatest gift Roger gave me was; inspiring me 2 seek, and find truth, and wisdom in the book of proverbs in the bible! Threw God and Roger I was able 2 start my day in Proverbs and believe in the Holy Spirit.
Roger you will always have a special place in my heart. Your impact on me will have a strong impact on future generations. Looking forward until we meet again in heaven!
