Nancy, we are so sorry for your to hear about Bill, he was a great guy. Went through school with him and spoke often on the phone. Planned on being there today but the weather in Kalamazoo had white outs & didn't want to get caught in big storm, our thoughts and prays are with you and your family. Bernie & Carrol Deweese
Nancy, My sympathy to you and your family. Bill was a former classmate of mine and a great friend. I fondly remember his dry sense of humor, his great nicknames, and the Long Long Pine. Marilyn and I are sorry we cannot be there today due to weather and want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nancy and family, We cannot express how much we will all miss Bill. He worked with me at the E.Lansing Post when he 1st joined MSP. We stayed friends with him thru the years since and looked forward to his e-mails and calls. Rest in Peace, friend, until we meet again.

Nancy, my sympathies on your loss. I am sorry that I cannot attend his memorial on Saturday. I will miss his wit and dry sense of humor. He was a great friend to me and we had a lot of great times together. You were a blessing to him and he cared for you deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

As a high school classmate and close friend during those years my sympathy goes out to Bill's family. My memories are filled with his kindness, his talents especially in his writing ability and the joys he brought to all of us. Grief is exhausting but know that prayers and loving thoughts are all around you.

We met Bill & Nancy when they moved to St.Petersburg.We found them to be a very loving couple.We enjoyed our talks with Bill, and learned a lot about them.We are so very sorry for the loss to the whole family.We will keep Nancy in our prays.

Bill was very good friend over the years we shared a lot of laughs and choir practise together he was one of those true friends which are few a far between May he rest in the loving arms of God

First met Bill when he was with Muskegon PD and became good friends. We lived in the same neighborhood in Charlotte and over the years shared lot of life, laughs & scotch. What a sense of humor. Rest in peace.
