This is a shocking news! May God gives you Peace. About 2 years ago you tried all to give a relief to my son Samuel from an idiopathic drop of his O2 level. I will never forget you!

Dr. Patterson was gruff. I sure missed him when he left Crownpoint. RIP

It was a distinct pleasure to work with Daryl at Hurley Medical Center in the early 90's. A brilliant clinician and a tireless champion of the sick. His patients and colleagues are all better for having known him. He will live on in our memories.

Dr. Patterson, You will be truly missed by everyone here at Crownpoint Indian Health Service! What a wonderful man, a great doctor and a wonderful friend you were to all of us who knew you. Thank you Dr. Patterson for serving the Navajo people in our community of Crownpoint, New Mexico. As I would go to the Emergency Room to restock medication, it was always awesome to hear your jokes and stories.
You will always live in our hearts and prayers. Our Heavenly Father has another mission for you, I know in my heart, that one day we will meet again.
