So sorry for your loss. May God and his angels be with you through this time of grief. Be comforted in knowing that your dad has gone home.

To all of you, most of you I only know through the tales my husband used to tell about George and A&P. Karl was very fond of George and always though very highly of him. Many, many times I would do all my grocery shopping in Meijers only to return to the front of the store to find George and Karl still spinning yarns about the grocery business and life in general.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. George and Karl are, no doubt, reminiscing in heaven.

Don't get the Chronicle anymore, but saw your dad's obit online. Didn't realize our father's were the same age! I thought mine would live to be 100 & yours actually did! I'm sure they knew each other, as I went to Nims with George's son George Jr! Even though my dad lived 97 years, it is still difficult to accept his death.Lots of memories! So, I can understand your grief. Thoughts & prayers with you at this difficult time!
