I just talked to my Mom (Pat Mayers) and learned of Max's passing. I send my condolences to your family and hold you in my prayers. Babe and Max and your family have always been so important to my parents and my Mom always talks of the wonderful memories you all shared. As kids we got to visit in Michigan and remember Max's humor and loving heart. He will be missed!
Dear Chuck and Kathy, I was deeply saddened to read of your Dad's passing. He always knew my name from the time I was little and that I was Tuffy's daughter. My folks often talked of going with or seeing Max and Babe. A wonderful man will be greatly missed. My prayers are with all the family.

I was so sorry to hear the news. My Dad was a good friend of Max's. They always enjoyed a good laugh. I've often thought of your family through the years. I remember going to skating club with Mari Jo and my Aunt Fran.
