Dear Mrs. Atkins & Family,

I will remember Fr. Atkins fondly for always lifting my spirits with his smile and bringing me communion when I was ill, and most recently for presiding over my God-daughter's Christening.
Though words can't ease your sorrow, hearts can share your loss.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers,

Dear Atkins Family,

I wish I could be present to celebrate the life of Fr. Atkins. He was my parish priest during my formative, teenage years in Hollywod Florida, as a member of St. Andrews. I am currently a priest in the Diocese of Los Angeles. I do believe he was instrumental in my decision to accept my call to ministry.

My prayers are with you and may God's grace embrace you and give you peace.

It was my privilege, as a brother priest, to serve the church in the diocese of New Jersey with Father Atkins.
God rest you brother Jarrette and may he grant you eternal rest.
