Thank you for nurturing us and allowing us to call you Grandma. Now you are in heaven, resting in piece, along with Grandpa.

I fell in love with this "little lady", over a piece of Lemon cake! The secret to that cake was guarded until she passed. I have never tasted another that met her standards, and neither did she! LOL!
If you asked her to make you one, she would, without hesitation. She'd call you, and say, "Come and get it, and MAKE SURE you bring my cardboard square back!" When she was younger, I admired her cute, little form fitting dresses, with her high heels, as she tipped through the parking lot, into the church. I remember her feisty personality, as she fussed at me for not kissing her...when she "caught" me, she would say, "Where's my kiss?"
When she turned 90, she would say, "Don't get old...just keep on livin'"...at 98, she would say, "who you calling old?" LOL! I would respond with, "Sis. Lewis, it's too late!" I loved her, with all my heart.
When Big Daddy turned 102, he allowed me to call her my girlfriend. I would assist transporting her in and out of church...telling her to "scoot her booty over"...we'd all laugh, and she'd tell me to stop touching her! I will miss her, dearly! She's with her Heavenly Father and Mancy, bragging about how she made it to 100, too!
