Louis E. Carlucci, Sr.
AGE: 97 • New Brunswick
Louis E. Carlucci, Sr., life long resident of New Brunswick, passed away at Willow Creek Care Center in Somerset, Saturday, December 29, 2012. Born in Manhattan, NY and was preceded in death by his parents: Salvatore and Luigina Carlucci, as well as his son Louis E. Carlucci Jr., four sisters and two brothers. He was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. He was very active with numerous Veterans organizations throughout his life and on July 19, 2002, he received New Jersey's highest military award: The Distinguished Service Medal. Mr. Carlucci was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Mary of Mount Virgin RC Church in New Brunswick.
He is survived by his two sons: Ronald and Charles Carlucci both of Toms River, three grandchildren: Ronald G. Carlucci, Laura Carlucci and Charlene Carlucci, one great grandson: Shawn Owen Carlucci and many nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest alongside his dear mother and father at Saint Peter Cemetery in New Brunswick following private funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of Gleason Funeral Home, Somerset.
