NEW HAVEN — Myra June (Foreman) Hysell Halfhill, 75, of New Haven, passed away March 17, 2018, in Overbrook Center, Middleport, Ohio, following an extended illness.
She was born March 28, 1942, a daughter of the late Woodrow Lace and Eileen Janet (Roush) Foreman. She was also preceded by her husbands, Roger Hysell and Lowell Halfhill Sr.; brother, Everett Foreman; sister, Phyllis Scott.
She was retired from Hartley Manufacturing, Ravenswood, with 21 years of service. She was a life member of the V.F.W. Post # 9926 Mason, auxiliary and the American Legion Post # 140, New Haven, auxiliary. She was a former E.M.T for Mason, attended the New Haven Church of God, and enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include her sons, William Grant (Roberta) Hysell and Jason Neil (Lisa) Hysell both of New Haven; step-children, Christy (Jeff) Joyner, Carla (Mike) Fuller and Lowell Halfhill Jr. all of Akron, Ohio; brother Dennis Foreman of Barboursville; sister, Sharon Taylor of Letart; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Service will be Wednesday, 1 p.m., March 21, 2018 at the Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, with Pastor Chad Foreman officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Cemetery, Letart. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared with the family at: foglesongfuneralhome.com
