Our heartfelt sympathy and love for all those who lost their lives and for the grieving families left behind
September 20, 2001
Myself,my wife and our four children, wish to express our deepest sympathy to all people of the United States Of America. We know words seem inadequate from a country such a long way from you,but please believe that in our hearts and our heads,an attack on a country such as yours,is an attack on our own.We are not immune from such acts of cowardice, and our own valued way of life is threatened as much as anyone else in these instances. We now turn to each other to unite and overcome these minority extremists , to preserve our childrens future. Please know that we,as a family and a country, are standing along side you in sharing your grief, and also sharing your determination to see true justice prevail. "God Bless America" and God bless those who choose to assist her. From The Austin Family. Gold Coast Australia

Disbelief is turning into reality!
Reality that I cannot believe!
May our faith in G-d cary us through all of this.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those who lost loved ones on Sept. 11th. May God continue to comfort all those who mourn. My gratitude and respect will forever be with all those who responded to help others only to lose their lives in this horrible tragedy.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes...

My deepest condolences to all the families and victims whose lives were affected by this tragedy. My thoughts are with you.

THIS LIFE WE LIVE IS A MARVELOUS MIRACLE WHOSE POTENTIAL FOR CREATIVITY AND SPRITUALITY A GREAT SEA COULD NOT ENCOMPASS, WHOSE DEPTH AND NUANCE OF EMOTION A DEEP OCEAN COULD ONLY HOLD.
AS WE PASS THROUGH THIS SEA OF EMOTION, WE EXPERIENCE MANY AWESOME WONDERS. THE JOY AND SERENDIPITY OF THE CORAL REEF OF HAPPINESS, AS BRIGHTLY COLORED FISH SWIM ABOUT, TRICKS US INTO EXPECTING ONLY GOOD THINGS. WE SEE THE HATEFUL CRAB OF DISCONTENT SCURRYING OFF AFTER SOME PREY AND SAY, NO. FEAR GRIPS US AS THE SHARK OF HATE VIOLENTLY FEEDS ON THE INNOCENT. LOVE, TOO, HAS IT'S PLACE HERE AS WE SWIM IN THE WARM TROPICAL LAGOON AND WANT TO STAY. BUT MOVE ON WE MUST TO THE DOLDRUMS OF LONELINESS WHERE NO FRIENDLY WINDS BLOW. SUCH IS LIFE IN THE GREAT SEA. HAVE FAITH MY FRIENDS FOR THE CURRENTS OF TIME WILL MOVE US ON.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families, the rescue workers and the people of New York. God bless you all.

Words cannot express the hurt that NY is going through. Though you are not alone, have not been since the attack. My prayers and thoughts go to the victims, families, survivors, firefighter, and the volunteers. If not for them were would we be.

The pain we cannot speak was shown graphically in the faces of the rescue workers who began their terrible work immediately following the cowardly attack on the World Trade Center. Covered in dust and smoke, eyes reddened by the toxic air, these heroes struggled to find a way to help those who might have survived. In the hours we watched these live broadcasts, we saw these selfless men and women grow weary, but still they continued their work. Their bodies seemed heavy with fatigue beyond our ability to imagine. I believe they embodied the feelings of each of us.....weary, stunned, grieving.....but refusing to yield to defeat. We have lost brothers and sisters to an act too barbarous to contemplate. Let us reach out to each other and offer comfort to those who have suffered so grieviously. God bless our nation and help us to heal in the days to come. May God lead us to seek justice.....not revenge.
