Floyd F. Frank, Jr. age 83, died peacefully Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his Ashton Glenn Residence in Surfside Beach, SC.
He was born in Washington, DC the son of the late Floyd F. Frank, Sr. and Ruby Saunders Frank. Floyd loved golf, dancing, birds and spending time with his family. He was a pioneer in Computer Science and was in business for over 40 years in Tacoma Park, Maryland. Mr. Frank served during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 0178, the VFW Post 1040 and the Elks Post 2797. He was the world's greatest father to his children.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Charlene Frank of Surfside Beach; a son, David Frank of Florida; daughters, Paula Frank-Roberts and Lisa Frank of Maryland; along with grandchildren, Lonna, Stacy, Bryan, Brandon and great-grandson, Logan; one brother, Donald Frank of Florida and two sisters, Blanche Carol of Kentucky and Janet McKinney of Maryland.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, October 14, 2011 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

I am so very sorry to read of the passing of Frank who was always a gentleman to everyone. He gave of himself whenever he could and never complained even when he had reason to do so.
