To the Ellerbe family
May God provide the strength
That you will need. In this most
Difficult time. I will always remember Mr. Ellerbe as a
Man of fine distinction
A pilar to our community
Many blessings to the family
I was sorry hear about cousin GB. He's with daddy now they are back together. I Love you cousin Inez always.
I am so sorry I am just hearing about Mr. Ellerbe's passing. I will be praying for the family. There is nothing like a father's love.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of your loss. May the legacy of your father continue in the minds and hearts of those lives he touched.
To Mrs. Ellerbe and the Ellerbe Family,
May The Lord Jehovah be your strength, and your song.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of your Family Patriarch. Mr Ellerbe will be missed in this community and all the other communities that was blessed by his presence.
Mr. Ellerbe always imparted Knowledge to the youth of his community. Through Mr. Ellerbe we learned the value of work, the value of friendship and to always look out for those younger than us.
Rarely could you find a man full of so much kindness and at the same time he was a stern(and I do mean "STERN" taskmaster). Many older men will tell revisionist history stories about what they have done for the community(they are legends in their own mind).
Mr. Ellerbe can stand before his God knowing that he actually was involved in countless childrens lives and all for the betterment of the child(he was A LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME).
We thank the Ellerbe family for alllowing us to share in this great mans life.
God Bless you all .
Ronald and Wanda Conwell and Family

Lydia, I didn't know your father, but knowing you and your kindness and loving spirit, tells me your father was a Prince among men to have raised a person like yourself. I remember you telling me how many times the doctors had counted him out only to have him rally and show them all the glory of God. Now the Lord had seen fit to call him to his well deserved reward, and even though your heart feel the weight of it as did mine when last I saw you at my mother's home going, we both know that it is a call we all must answer some day. My prayer for you is that the comfort of the Holy Spirit resides with you and guides you through this dark hour giving you the peace, love, comfort and grace that it will take to navigate the rough waters ahead. My continual prayers are with you and the family. Let me know if there is anything I can do. The Lord has given and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
