Coach Hill was an outstanding man who cared about people. I have spent 25 years in education and have come to appreciate what an outstanding principal he was. He leaves an indelible mark on Brooks High School and the community. He will be greatly missed.

Harlon Hill was such a dear friend of my Dad, LL Whitten. Men like these are such a treasure we all can learn from. Dad misses him already but they can be together one day again as they enter into the Biggest" game yet with our wonderful Savior. :)

I will never forget Coach Hill roaming the halls at Brooks High School. An imposing figure but kind and fair. He shaped so many lives. I am very saddened by the loss of this great man. My deepest sympathy to the Hill family. RIP Coach. -Suzette Tidwell Allen BHS Class of 88

All my sympathy to Mr. Hill's family. I met him when he was the principal at Brooks Hugh School in the 1990's. He was very soft spoken and was a great help with a bad situation. He was a source of comfort at a very sad time. I hear nothing but praise for this wonderful man. It was an honor to know him.

Coach Hill will be deeply missed and was such a highly respected and shining example of a Christian, I wish schools today had more leaders like Harlon, my deepest sympathies to the family.

So sorry for your loss. He was a great man and excellent example of what a principal should be. Some of us were lucky enough to have him as a principal and as a friend. All if you are in my thoughts and prayers.
