Conway, SC…John W. Sause, age 84, of Rudder Court, died Thursday, April, 3, 2014 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Sause was born in East Haven, CT, a son of the late John Francis and Millicent Hein Sause. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a Korean War Air Force Veteran where he was a member of the 39th Tactical Airlift Squadron. Mr. Sause was an avid golfer and was a member of the Burning Ridge Golf Club.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Eileen B. Sause of Conway, one son, David J. Sause of North Haven, CT, one daughter, Mary Sause Slavik (Steve) of Mira Loma, CA and one sister, Audrey Sause Brown of Phoenix, AZ.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church with Father Rick LaBrecque officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in North Haven, CT.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church.
