Ruth and every other one of you - oh my gosh, when I think of ALL of the slumber parties at your house, to begin with, plus the years and years of our friendship. I remember that you came to Mother and Dad's funerals and it meant the world to me. You all are so lucky to have had so many years with your dad! I was always scared of him waaaay back then because I think he was always mad at us! Then, I found out how nice he was!!! Ha. I wish I could be there for you. With much love, Bonnie Craddick Kelley

I rented my first office space from Max and he became a wonderful friend. His quick wit, his wonderful smile and his love of family are just some of the things I will always remember about him. I know he will be truly missed and just wanted his family to know they are in our thoughts and prayers. Jamie Thompson (and the Davidson family), Midland, Texas

Max was a fun and interesting man to be around. I have fond memories of sharpening pencils in his office as a young girl as well as recent memories of his colorful stories. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

I have known and done business with Max for over 20 years and always knew him to be a man of his word, a person whose integrity was beyond reproach. My condolences go out to all his family and may God's word comfort all of you especially at this time.

Gampie, I an so proud to be your grandson, thanks for teaching me how to be a real man. How to love unconditionally, cry, laugh, and sing. You are so special to everyone honored enough to have met you. I will always love you.

Gampie, you will always live in our hearts. Memories of walks, tumbleweed burning, the original colors of jello, the love and faith and family instilled in all us will carry us through until we see you and Gammie again. Love you Rick, Sydney, Mallory, Tara and Jason
