Sending our love and sympathy to you and your son. We just read in the KY Alumni that Charlie had passed away. You must have taken very good care of him all these years. With love and prayers, Kaki and Don

Charlie, you were one of my favorite lawyers. You were patient, honest and fair, and I always enjoyed our dealings. May you rest in peace, and I hope the hunting is good up there.....

I always admired Charley for his steadfast manner and zest for hunting. He never met a stranger and although very quiet, he was a good friend to all who crossed his path. In addition and not to be taken lightly, he was an excellent attorney. He will be missed by all of us.

I am so saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. What fond memories I have of him taking me on trips to Tennessee to investigate cases when I was in law school or on goose hunting trips to Ballard County when he was on the Fish & Game Commission and , not least, when he told me to Frankfort to introduce me to the Court and get sworn in as a lawyer.
He was a great lawyer and mentor and I was honored to have him as a friend.
My sincerest condolences to Betty Jo and Rogers. I' m very sorry I can't make it for the visitation or the service.
Alan Peck, Mt Sterling
