I grew up with Gary. We considered him a cousin. His parents were best friends with my parents, Carl and Gert Alexis from the time they were in school. He was kind and funny. I remember such great times with him, Peggy Jo and his parents. Years ago my husband, step daughters and I visited Gary and Patrice prior to them starting their own family. My step daughters remember how he helped gave them fishing rods and helped them fish near his home. He was kind and the girls liked him a great deal. He was a wonderful human being. I know he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Connie Alexis-Laona

Patrice,
My sincerest condolences to you, Elizabeth, and Emily. I will never forget you and Gary from Penn State and weekend rides to Bradford. Also Gary's help in PChem was invaluable. Heartfelt blessings to you all in this difficult time.

Gary went to school with me, a year ahead at Bradford High. Even back in the 1960s I knew he was destined to be great. He was so intelligent, and patient. I can still remember him leading a youth service one Saturday evening...my deepest sympathy to you all. A classmate, Carol Hopkins Kozel.
