Aunt Alice was truly a wonderful, kind and caring person. One of the biggest accomplishments anyone can hope for during their time on this earth is to touch people and make a difference. In that regard, Aunt Alice was a huge and resounding success. Her courage, faith, and strength throughout her life is a shining example to all of us.
The memories I cherish the most are taken from our many family gatherings and her and her siblings laughter. Their sense of humor carried through to all of them and it will be Aunt Alice's smiling eyes and laughter I will have in my heart.
My thoughts are with all her family.

Dear Margie,
I was so sorry to hear of the sad news about your mother. I fondly remember how kind she always was to me. I also enjoyed hearing the story about when your parents met. I can never forget how excited I always got when we were to visit with your family. Those were great times back then! I hope you can all remember all of the good times and lovely memories during these next very hard days and weeks. Please give my condolences to Gerry, Ginger, Connie and Billy. I will definitely try to make it to your mother's memorial service in the spring. Please keep in touch and let me know when you have finalized plans.

Alice and I were volunteers at the Senior Friendship Center, and she made me aware of how a true nurse cares for the sick, needy, and some times friendless. What an inspiration! Carol
