MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF"LIZ"ALLEN,A FORMER RESIDENT OF EMINENCE,SHE WAS ALWAYS CORDIAL AND HELPFUL TO ME AS A TEENAGER SHOPPING IN "ALLENS DRESS SAHOP ALSO REMEMBER HER KINDLY AT THE CLINIC.
My deeepest condolences to you, and to your family. You are all in my thoughts, and in my prayers. I didn't know your Mother, personally, but I've had the pleasure of reading so many kind things, that others, who knew her, had to say. She sounds like she was an amazing woman, very classy, with a big heart. I only know your sister Lisa, vicariously, through Fb, and she seems lovely, but obviously, I know you, and you both turned out to be truly incredible people...no wonder, as you had such a shining example, and an inspirational role model. My heart goes out to you, at this difficult time. XoXo
Thanks to everyone who signed this Guest Book for our mother. We greatly appreciate you acknowledgments, expressions of sympathy and your cards, letters and emails during Mama's passing. They were a true comfort. We will be having a Graveside Memorial Service honoring her life at the Eminence Cemetery, HWY 55 entrance, on Saturday, May 11 at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Michael Duncan of the Eminence Baptist Church will be officiating.
Although I did not have the good fortune to meet Elizabeth Reeves Allen, I am privileged to know and be friends with her children. I know the sterling human being that she was because I know first hand the amazing job she did rasing Lee and Lisa. With their joy for life, kindness to other people and goodness, Lee and Lisa are a living testament to the teachings and influence of their mother. Lee and Lisa, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Fran Day
We will miss your mother. She was always there to welcome us when visiting Lago Mar in the summer, and enjoyed many good times at my father's, Norman Knowlton, annual February party. She was truly a wonderful woman. Our sympathies and may God's Peace be on her and with you and your family.

Seeing that picture of your mom brought back so many great memories! She and your dad were both so nice to all of us growing up. I love seeing pictures of you both on Facebook. Will be thinking of you all and sending prayers.
I will always remember your Mama as a person with tremendous style and pizazz who adored her family. Please know that you are in my loving thoughts and prayers.
Lisa and Lee, my favorite memory is her 80th birthday party and how much fun we all had after the party! In fact Chuck and I were talking about that just the other day. She looked so pretty and happy and boy was she happy at our "after party party"! Until she got irritated at Chuck. lol I am so glad I was lucky enough to know "the Little General". I am also always indebted to her for giving me my best friend! I love you guys! Leah Hager Spears
