James P. Tighe, Jr.

James P. Tighe, Jr., age 76, of Naples, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at Physicians Regional Hospital, Naples, Florida on Monday, April 25, 2016 with his wife and family at his side. He was born in Camden, New Jersey, to James P. Tighe, Sr. and Grace Floyd. Jim was married to the love of his life, DEE, for 13 years. In 2005, Jim moved to Naples from Somers Point, New Jersey. He graduated from Gloucester High School, Gloucester, New Jersey and Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania. Jim was a member of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. After he was shot down in Vietnam, Jim was honorably discharged.
Jim was the founder and owner of T & T Flooring Company, Bellmawr, New Jersey which he founded in 1971. Jim's outgoing personality, honesty and business ingenuity made him the successful entrepreneur that he was.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, James P. Tighe, Sr. and Grace Floyd. He will be sadly missed by his survivors, his beloved wife, Dee; sons, Paul and Shawn and daughter-in-law, Renee; grandsons, PJ and Zack; and granddaughters, Taylor and Mackenzie - THE TREASURES OF HIS LIFE! Also surviving are his in-laws, Jo and David Marr, Barbara and John Kuryea, Kim Kuryea Martin, Steve Martin and their son, Cole Jacob Martin. His many friends in New Jersey and Naples were especially important to him. Jim loved living in Naples, it was his Paradise.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00 am at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL 34108. Interment will be private at a later date.

Dearest Dee & family,
We are so sorry for your loss. My family & I loved Jim so very much. Everyone who met Jim at my wedding enjoyed his company and said "great guy!"
