It was a pleasure getting to know Mr. Bean while working in the International Division. He was a very kind and generous man. Working under him was a great experience. I will always remember his warm "Good Morning" with a smile when he came into the office. My condolences to the Bean family. Evelyn Sarris

Jim and Bean family,I just learned of your Dad's passing. Hanging out at your house still hold some of my best childhood memories and your dad was always a strong presence.

Connie and family, What an amazing guy - and though I knew hardly any of those things he did, I guess I would have expected no less: cuz your mom and dad raised the most feet-on-the-ground, generous with laughter, morally anchored, and FUNNEST responsible person I know, my treasured friend from 4th grade to today, Constantinople Bean Connors. THIS is where you get it from, your truly wonderful parents. Thinking of you all with love,

In Memoriam - "To fly west, my friend, is a flight we all must take for a final check."--Author unknown John,my wife Kathy(nurse at Moorings Park)and I were honored to have met you and your lovely wife,Ruth. We had a very interesting conversation over dinner at St George & The Dragon just a few years ago. Listening to you recall some of your experiences as a Flying Boat pilot for Pan Am was a real treat for both of us, as we both were Pan Am employees. Only a handful of Pan Am Flying Boat Pilots left. Needless to say a very elite group of airmen. Although we didn't get to know you well, it is clearly evident that your personal accomplishments as a human being were just as extraodinary. God will lift you up on Eagle Wings, bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun,and hold you in the palm of His hand. Blue skies, John. John, it was so good to learn about your side of the family and all the great things your father did. Now I know why you are so special. It was so great to talk with you at the reunion.
