As a member of the Island Walk Social Bridge group, I had the opportunity to see and visit with Renee quite often. She was always cheerful, upbeat and a pleasure to interact with. We were all stunned by the news of her death and will miss her. We extend our sympathy and condolences to all her family and friends!

Dearest Melody,

Our heartfelt love and kisses to you and all the family for the loss of our beautiful Renee - we have precious photos of her holding Jacky and I as babies, and was mummy's best friend from the beginning - we have a lifetime of memories of her in our family, and we'll never forget her.

Dear Melody and family, My Holocaust interview with Renee in March of 2006, left a bond between Renee & I for the last 8 years of her life. Renee was a survivor in every sense of the word. She was a strong woman with the gift for living life to it's fullest. Her love for her family, both past and present, burned deep in her soul and made her the sensitive and loving woman she was. I am saddened by your tragic loss, but comfort yourslves with the knowledge Renee loved you all more than life itself.
Fondly, Mary Ann Vincent (South West Holocaust Museum Volunteer).
