I love you Gramps and miss you terribly. You are always in my memory and I hope that while you are looking down on me I am making you proud!

I also worked at Nassiff's with Dave and Peg. Suffice it to say, I really didn't have much direction at that point in my life. Dave had a tremendous influence on me at that point in my life. There is a long list of words to describe his character, personality, patriotism and traits and the thing I learned just from being around him. I think if I had to sum it up in one word, it would be "Consistent".

He was a great man and a Great American. God Bless you Bell's and family!

I worked with Dave at Nassiff's in Willimantic for 13 years. He is easily one of the most interesting people I've ever met. He had stories that would leave you mesmerized. He seldom spoke of his years of service, though he was very proud of it. As a young punk fresh out of college, I learned a lot from him. He was honest, forthright, and always himself. He spoke his mind, and you always knew where you stood. I'm very proud to have known Dave, and am the better for it. My sincere condolences to Peg and the rest of the Bell clan.
