To The Harris Family:
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Major Harris! I remembered him from the days when he sang with Mike Harris and the Imperials at the old Coliseum on Clay Street. At that time, I played sax with the Fabulettes all girl group. He was one of Richmond's finest talents, and my favorite song that he sang was "Old Danny Boy". What a beautiful voice he had! He will surely be missed.
