Thinking of you today, dear cousin, and praying that you are resting in peace in Heaven, high above.

Dearest Naseema,
Reminiscing over that wretched day when we lost you along with many precious souls who met an untimely end. You were at the prime of your life and had many more years ahead to look forward to...many more achievements to make and many more years of making a difference in people's lives around you with your glowing aura.
Speaking to a friend today, I mentioned how I wished I'd met you once even, having met the rest of your family. Perhaps you were meant to reside forever in my thoughts. I will always remember my grandmother's praises of you as the sweetest and most loved daughter in your family.
Your life will remain an inspiration for generations to come. In Sha Allah.
May Allah grant you the upmost place in Jannah with the rank of a Shaheed. May your's and your mother's soul rest in peace. Ameen.

Dear Nasima,
Every time the news of that terrible 9/11 comes up, the first person I think of is you. I had known you since my school days whilst visiting your sister Salma. I was always so impressed by the humble and welcoming nature of your family and just as I miss you today, I know they must be missing you too. Pray that you are happy where ever you are and may Allah give your family strength. May your soul rest in peace in Jannat e Naeem. Amen.My husband Hussein is reading this and joins me in conveying the same sentiments.
