Dear Family of Nathan
No feeble words of consolation can realy condole adequately to assuage a loss. Thoughout the tributes there is a true expression of real love.

My friend, Michael--I have hesitated writing, trying to find words with the strength of oaks to give you support. In the end, they seemed to me all too fragile and inconsequential. You certainly have our love and friendship. You and your family are in Karen's and my prayers. When you have a moment please update us on the best ways to contact you.
Sincerely, David and Karen

Nathan Hornburg took my Political Geography class at Mount Royal College. He was one of the best students I have ever had the pleasure of teaching. His class contributions were always thoughtful and respectful. He cared deeply about leaving the world a better place than he had found it. Peace and courage to family and friends.

Dear Linda, Micheal and Rachel,
Our heart goes out to you for your loss. Nathan represented all that was good and pure. At his tender young age, he showed a courage and resolve that most never achieve in a lifetime. He is an inspiration and role model for young people everywhere. Thank you for bringing this special soul into the world.
