Dear Dougie - I am so glad I spent a lot of time with you in the last months of your life despite the fact that you were not in my life for a long time. Thank you for your kindness to our family and everyone you knew. Your good deeds will go before you and I am sure your stay in the half-way house will be short and very soon you will go to your reward and see the face of God. Anna and me will miss our Tuesday evenings with you.
With love and prayers.
Missing our weekly visits and daily phone conversations, George. You were a delight to know and a true gentleman.

In remembering all of Uncle Dougie's kindest deeds when I was a kid, he had a Heart of Gold. And even through his illness in his final days, one of his final acts of generosity was to give my kids a chocolate bar each. Something I will never forget. God Bless. You will be missed.
Uncle Dougie, I will miss you and all the interesting stories. So proud of your many accomplishments! Rest in peace and God bless.
